The Zanzibar House of Representatives is one of the two parts forming the Zanzibar Legislative organ.

Zanzibar together with Mainland Tanzania forms the United Republic of Tanzania.
House of Representatives is legislative body for the Zanzibar part of the Union.
As a Representative body of the people, the Zanzibar House of Representatives is where Zanzibar Government formed.
In that all Ministers including the Chief Minister are drawn from the House Members.
The maximum strength in the Composition of the House Members is 82, which combines the elected and nominated members.
